Prerequisites
- An API key: open the console, go to API Keys and create a dedicated key (for example, named
DeepChat). - DeepChat installed and opened at least once, so the system registers its
deepchat://link handler.
Configuration
Option A: one-click import
- On the API Keys page, open the actions menu of the key and choose Chat → DeepChat (available when your administrator has enabled it).
- Allow the browser to open DeepChat.
- Check the provider import preview in DeepChat — the address and key are pre-filled — and confirm.
Option B: manual setup
-
In DeepChat, open Settings → Providers and add a custom provider.
-
Fill in:
Field Value Name RuTokenAPI type OpenAI(OpenAI-compatible)API URL https://rutoken.ai/v1API Key sk-xxxx -
Click Verify, then fetch the model list and enable the models you want to use.
Verify
Open a new conversation, choose a model from the RuToken provider and send Hello, please reply with "Connection successful".. The request appears in the console under Usage Logs.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| The link does not open DeepChat | Install and launch the desktop app once, then try the one-click import again. |
401 / invalid API key |
Copy the full key again; check that it is enabled, not expired and has quota left. |
404 / not found |
Use https://rutoken.ai/v1 as the API URL, without /chat/completions. |
| Model not found | Enable only models that exist in the Model Square and are allowed for the key. |
