AionUi

Connect the free, open-source desktop cowork app AionUi to RuToken models.

AionUi is a free, local, open-source desktop cowork app. It gives a graphical interface to agents such as Gemini CLI, Claude Code, Codex, Qwen Code and others, with multi-session chat, file management, document preview, image generation and WebUI remote access. Source and downloads: GitHub · Releases.

Prerequisites

  • An API key: open the console, go to API Keys and create a dedicated key (for example, named AionUi).
  • AionUi installed from the releases page.

Configuration

Option A: one-click import

If your administrator has enabled it, open the actions menu of your key on the API Keys page and choose Chat → AionUi. AionUi opens with the address and key pre-filled; confirm and continue with step 3 below.

Option B: manual setup

  1. Open Settings → Model and click Add Model.

  2. Choose the OpenAI-compatible Custom platform and fill in:

    Field Value
    Platform Custom
    Base URL https://rutoken.ai/v1
    API Key sk-xxxx

Do not add /chat/completions — AionUi appends it.

  3. Enter or select the model ID exactly as shown in the Model Square and save. Repeat for each model you want.

Assistants and agents that use tools need models with function calling support. If a model is missing from an assistant's model picker, choose one that supports tool calls.

Verify

Return to the chat page, choose your saved model in the model picker and send Hello, please reply with "Connection successful".. The request appears in the console under Usage Logs.

Troubleshooting

Symptom Fix
401 / invalid API key Copy the full key again; check for spaces and that it is enabled, not expired and has quota left.
404 / not found The Base URL must be https://rutoken.ai/v1, without /chat/completions.
Model not found Use the exact model ID from the Model Square; check the key's model limits and function calling support.
