AstrBot

Add RuToken as a model provider in the AstrBot agent chatbot platform for QQ, Feishu, DingTalk and more.

AstrBot is an open-source, all-in-one agent chatbot platform. It brings large language models into messaging apps such as QQ, Feishu, DingTalk, WeCom and Telegram — for personal assistants, customer service, automation or team knowledge bases. Docs: docs.astrbot.app, source: GitHub.

Prerequisites

  • An API key: open the console, go to API Keys and create a dedicated key (for example, named AstrBot).
  • A running AstrBot instance with access to its admin panel.

Configuration

1. Add the provider

  1. In the AstrBot admin panel, open Model Providers and click Add Model Provider.

  2. Choose OpenAI — RuToken supports the OpenAI Chat Completions and Responses APIs.

  3. Fill in:

    Field Value
    API Base URL https://rutoken.ai/v1
    API Key sk-xxxx
Model a model ID from the Model Square, e.g. gpt-4o-mini
  4. Click Save.

2. Make it the default

Open the Configuration page, find the Model section, set Default chat model (default provider) to the provider you just created and click Save.

Verify

Send a message to your bot in any connected messaging app, or use the chat in the admin panel. A reply means the provider works; the request appears in the console under Usage Logs.

Troubleshooting

Symptom Fix
401 / invalid API key Copy the full key again; check that it is enabled, not expired and has quota left.
404 / not found The API Base URL must be https://rutoken.ai/v1.
Model not found Use an exact model ID from the Model Square that the key is allowed to use.
Bot still answers with the old model Check that the default provider in Configuration was saved, then restart AstrBot if needed.
